Responsibilities
- Execute talent strategies, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and development, to ensure the right people are in the right roles.
- Identify and deliver learning and development opportunities aligned with functional and leadership competencies.
- Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives informed by survey insights, fostering a high-performance, inclusive environment.
- Deliver HR operations and compliance, including core processes, policy guidance, workplace investigations, and leave/claims management.
- Collaborate with HR COEs to deliver comprehensive, efficient support to the business.
- Champion continuous improvement across all HR programs, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience.
Requirements
- Qualifications EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in HR, business or a related discipline required. CPHR/CHRP designation is an asset. 5+ years'
- experience in Human Resources with exposure to a cross-section of HR activity required.
- Experience and proficiency with HRIS or HCM related systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various Provincial Legislation (Employment Standards, Human Rights, Occupational Health & Safety, WSIB, WCB, etc.)
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Manufacturing, Building Products or related industry experience preferred.
