Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

  • Independently deliver well-scoped customer-facing features and platform capabilities from design and implementation through rollout and follow-through in production.
  • Build reliable services, APIs, and web experiences, improving existing systems while shipping new capabilities.

  • The team is deeply invested in AI, LLMs, and emerging agentic technologies, both in the products we build and in how we engineer them, enabling rapid iteration and highly personalized, insight-driven user experiences.
  • As a Sr. Software Engineer I on the team, you will lead the design and evolution of systems that sit at the intersection of real-time data processing, AI-powered insights, and customer-facing product experiences.
  • You’ll partner closely with Product, Design, ML, and platform teams to build scalable services, intelligent workflows, and next-generation AI capabilities that help organizations move beyond reactive incident review toward proactive, data-informed safety management.

  • Contribute to AI-powered workflows and experiences using modern LLM tooling, including evaluation, iteration, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
  • Experience developing features or end-to-end solutions across backend services, APIs, and modern web applications.
  • Ability to independently own moderately complex projects or features within a release or two, with strong execution and follow-through. •
  • Experience writing clean, efficient, maintainable code and reviewing peer code for correctness and clarity.
  • Experience using metrics, logs, tests, or tracing to debug issues, validate releases, and improve reliability.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in AI-native development, including LLMs and workflow automation.
  • Experience building and scaling customer-facing AI/LLM-powered products in production environments. •
  • Experience working across the stack with modern technologies such as Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with observability, rollout practices, and monitoring approaches that improve product reliability and operational excellence. •
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments with distributed teams.

  • Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • This role is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff, and ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance, subject to plan terms and conditions.
  • Annual Base Salary $113,645 — $191,000 USD Total Rewards
