Responsibilities
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions.
- Design and procure material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on small to medium scale projects.
- Create and document basic information flow systems containing supply chain and IT deliverables to meet project objectives. *Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners including engineers, IT, suppliers, supervisors, leads, etc.
Requirements
- RESPONSIBILITIES: *Seeks to understand customers needs in detail and how to satisfy them using a strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving. *Implement material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs.
- 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field 3-5+ years of
- experience in project leadership, supply chain, IT, operations or manufacturing/industrial engineering preferred *Ability to effectively apply acquired knowledge and skills to a variety of assignments within a moderate range of technical difficulty. *Working knowledge and
- experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology *Working knowledge of lean manufacturing processes such as pull systems, kanban systems, PDCA thinking, and value stream mapping.
- experience in building and maintaining relationships *Communicates effectively through written, verbal, listening, and presentation techniques. *Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
- Experience with change management strategies
