- ERG is seeking a highly motivated Air Quality Research Scientist.
- Responsibilities will include managing and executing projects and tasks across a range of air quality measurement and monitoring initiatives, including community monitoring, near-road monitoring, oil and gas assessments, methods research, exposure investigations, source testing, and other air-related sampling and monitoring activities.
- The individual will be responsible for engineering, testing, and operating air quality measurement instrumentation on projects nationwide.
- They will also prepare work plans, quality assurance project plans (QAPPs), health and safety plans, and reports for work conducted by ERG.
- Travel to project sites to conduct air quality research, sampling, and monitoring will comprise approximately 25–35% of the role, with field assignments lasting up to 3–4 consecutive weeks.
- Strong data processing skills will be essential for success in this position.
