Requirements
- Resmed is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead a critical Platform Engineering team responsible for building and operating a cloud-native compute platform on AWS and Kubernetes.
- As a leader, you are expected to bring strong technical credibility and proven people leadership, with the ability to operate across strategy and execution, ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, reliable, and continuously evolving to meet business and developer needs.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure.
- experience through self-service platform capabilities and standardization Establish and evolve engineering standards, best practices, and operational processes Lead incident reviews, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- experience in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering 2+ years
- experience leading & developing engineering teams Technical background in large-scale platform or infrastructure engineering Expertise in Kubernetes platform management (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or GCP GKE)
- Experience operating complex, multi-tenant, distributed platforms in production environments Good understanding of cloud-native architectures, networking, security, observability, and operational excellence
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and modern engineering practices Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Demonstrated ability to balance technical strategy, execution, and people leadership.
- Experience working in globally distributed teams
