- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues.
- Conduct visual alignments and calibration activities.
- Support simulator modifications, upgrades, refurbishment activities, and engineering change implementations.
- Interpret technical documentation, schematics, and system drawings to support maintenance activities.
- Operational Support Conduct pre-flight and post-flight simulator checks.
- Monitor simulator performance and identify potential technical issues before they impact training operations.
- Support technical recovery activities during training disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with CAE's Quality Management System, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and technical records using the maintenance management system.

- The Role CAE is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Simulator Technician II to join our team at the CAE Sydney Training Centre in St Peters, NSW .
- This role is ideal for an experienced technician looking to further develop their career in simulation technology.
- Training & Compliance Complete all required technical certifications and recurrent training.
- Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: A technical trade qualification, diploma, associate degree, or equivalent training in electronics, avionics, electrical, mechanical, IT, or a related field.
