Requirements
- The Certified Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists in delivering pharmaceutical care and customer service excellence.
- experience as a pharmacy technician and
- experience in relevant practice setting. What We Require: Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Registration with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals required.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Certification relevant to work area is required within 6 months of hire. Other Minimum
- Qualifications: Must be able to maintain familiarity with a large number (1000-2000) of medications and focused on attention to detail/accuracy.
- Requires knowledge and use of general office equipment and procedures, including computer/keyboard.
- Must be able to solve simple mathematical and logistical problems in the work environment.

- The incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those stated in this description. Compensation Range: $18.70 - $26.18 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
