Responsibilities

Design and implement RESTful APIs that are secure, scalable, reliable, and performant.
Build and enhance cloud-native applications and services running on AWS.
Design and implement solutions using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
Develop and maintain healthcare integration capabilities supporting standards such as HL7 and modern interoperability patterns.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable secure, automated software delivery.
Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests while promoting high engineering quality standards.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability and performance.
Collaborate with architects, technical leads, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable integration solutions.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.

Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS. Strong
experience using Git and GitHub for source control and collaboration.
Strong understanding of Agile software development practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of secure software development principles and best practices.
Experience working with HL7, healthcare messaging, healthcare integration platforms, or healthcare interoperability standards.
Experience with AWS serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
Experience with application security tooling and vulnerability management.
Experience developing or supporting .NET applications.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
