Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs that are secure, scalable, reliable, and performant.
- Build and enhance cloud-native applications and services running on AWS.
- Design and implement solutions using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
- Develop and maintain healthcare integration capabilities supporting standards such as HL7 and modern interoperability patterns.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable secure, automated software delivery.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests while promoting high engineering quality standards.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable integration solutions.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements

- Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS. Strong
- experience using Git and GitHub for source control and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of secure software development principles and best practices.
- Experience working with HL7, healthcare messaging, healthcare integration platforms, or healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience with AWS serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with application security tooling and vulnerability management.
- Experience developing or supporting .NET applications.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
