Reliability and Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment issues Conduct equipment inspections and condition monitoring activities to identify potential failures before they impact production Support reliability initiatives by participating in root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring failures Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate, detailed maintenance and compliance documentation in accordance with company and
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend solutions to enhance equipment uptime, safety, and efficiency.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities as required.

Requirements

  • Experience Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience performing maintenance within a manufacturing, industrial, processing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environment.
  • Experience working with maintenance management systems and completing detailed maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a structured quality and compliance framework.
  • Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP, ISO standards, or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), predictive maintenance, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with PCs, computer hardware, electronics, and automated equipment systems.
  • Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
