Responsibilities
- Support geophysical surveys by preparing equipment, collecting data, and learning traditional and innovative techniques.
Requirements
- What you’ll need: Third year or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Mining/Geological Engineering or Geoscience is preferred.
- Relevant Civil or Mechanical Engineering programs also considered. 72% or higher Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment. 1-2 years of
- experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred. Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
- Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams), are required.
- Experience working in a team environment is a must Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable Effective verbal communication skills is a plus Physical work environments may include both outdoor and underground settings, with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold temperatures and weather conditions.

- Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.
- Projects will focus on improving facility efficiency and final product quality.
- Term May 10, 2027 up to 16 months Full time Co-Op/Internship.
- What you’ll do: Day to day duties will include: Shadow experienced professionals to develop job knowledge and provide input on current practices.
- Travel Underground to perform inspections and collect data.
- Assist the department with Mine Ventilation or Mine Planning duties as required.
