Requirements: Current NY Bar admission. J.D. degree from accredited law school. An LLM in tax law or a CPA license in NY is helpful but not required. At least 20+ years practicing tax law, with
experience in partnership tax, corporate tax, and tax structuring, including with respect to mergers and acquisitions. Tax credit
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and promptly respond to client’s needs.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-office, team-based environment.

Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a full-service law firm of more than 300 attorneys with 14 offices that are located across New York State, as well as in Boston, Kansas City, FL and NJ, is seeking an experienced tax attorney to work on the tax aspects of planning and executing business transactions, structuring business and real estate entities and advising clients and colleagues on a variety of federal and New York State tax matters.

The salary range at the Senior Counsel level is $150,000 – $275,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
