Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end backend development , from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Lead and contribute to architecture and design decisions for backend systems.
- Build and optimize REST APIs and microservices used across products.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability , following best engineering practices.
- Conduct code reviews , provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features efficiently.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues .
- Drive improvements in system scalability, reliability, and maintainability .
Requirements
- Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5–7 years of strong backend development experience. Deep expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot . Strong
- experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred), including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles .
- Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs and microservices architectures . Hands-on
- experience with distributed systems and high-scale backend systems .
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) .
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes , and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and DevOps practices .
- Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization .
- Experience with security best practices is a plus. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
