Requirements
- Qualifications Required and Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in accounting – required 1-2 years of
- experience in accounting – required

- Evolent is looking for a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant I – focused on revenue recognition – to be a key member of the Accounting and Finance team.
- This individual will assist in the day-to-day accounting activities and month-end financial reporting requirements, while being actively involved in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes.
- Collaborations Opportunities: Evolent’s Accounting team works cross-functionally with all departments across the organization, including Operations, and Finance, among others, supporting all company stakeholders, as well as the executive leadership team.
- This individual will work within a revenue-focused hub of the larger Accounting team, which also includes two separate GL-focused hubs.
- What You’ll Be Doing: Preparing accounting transactions across range of business processes (e.g., revenue, accounts receivables, deferred revenue) Preparing monthly reconciliations Assisting with variance analysis (month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, etc.) Tracking customer aging and preparing cash application Supporting the quarterly and annual financial statement audits with auditors Participating in special projects, as needed
