Responsibilities
- Analyze production demand, equipment capability, and workforce capacity to identify constraints.
- Lead capacity modeling and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and supply chain teams to ensure balanced capacity utilization.
- Recommend capital investments for equipment, automation, and facility expansion when needed.
- Facility Layout & Space Optimization Design and implement efficient plant layouts that optimize workflow, material handling, and space utilization.
- Lead layout redesign projects for new product introductions, line expansion, or process improvements.
- Utilize layout planning tools such as AutoCAD, simulation software, and digital factory tools.
- Ensure layouts follow lean manufacturing principles and safety regulations.
- Optimize warehouse, production floor, and material flow systems.
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and work measurement analysis.
- Identify waste reduction opportunities across production processes.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Project Management Manage industrial engineering projects including layout changes, new line installations, and capacity expansion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Develop dashboards and reports on capacity utilization and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field of study. At least 8 years of professional
- experience in a relevant field. Industry exposure in the Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing setup is highly preferred. Proven
- experience in capacity planning and facility layout design Strong knowledge of capacity analysis, OEE, line balancing, and process optimization Tools, Application and System
- Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD, layout simulation tools, and data analysis software
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies Skills and Competency
- Requirements: Strong analytical and statistical skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving Strong project management and leadership abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments Other
