Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering support for pipeline, plant, terminal, or field operations, ensuring safe and reliable asset performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations, company standards, and environmental and safety requirements.
- Support capital project development, including scope definition, cost estimates, and execution alignment with engineering standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Ensure effective risk management by identifying, evaluating, and mitigating operational and technical risks.
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Commercial, Project Management, HSSE, and Regulatory teams.
Requirements
- Leadership Supervises a team, typically consisting of professionals at the entry or level and higher-level support / production employees Leads, directs, and reviews the work of team to accomplish operational plans and results Typically provides input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports, for higher-level consideration and approval Education Bachelor's Degree Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related discipline, typically required Equivalent industry
- experience in the oil & gas industry Leadership or supervisory
