Responsibilities
- Strengthen controls and accuracy Perform checks, reconciliations, and reviews across financial data, including intercompany and bank reconciliations.
- Investigate inconsistencies and resolve issues proactively.
- Improve systems and workflows Use Excel and Power Query to structure, clean, analyse, and consolidate finance data across entities.
- Collaborate across the business Work closely with external accountants, auditors, and internal stakeholders across jurisdictions to ensure smooth coordination and clear, consistent reporting.

- That means the fundamentals matter a lot here: the books need to close accurately and on time and financial information needs to be trustworthy and comparable across entities.
- As a candidate, you should have: Must-Have (The fundamentals) 5+ years of
- experience in accounting, ideally across multiple entities, countries, or an international business Comfortable applying international accounting best practices, not focused solely on one country's GAAP Strong Excel skills and solid Power Query experience
- Experience with reconciliations, financial data, and accounting controls Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly Comfortable taking ownership and operating autonomously Clear communication skills in English Comfortable using AI/tools to improve efficiency and solve problems Nice to Have (If you don't have it now you will after joining) Power BI
- experience A recognised accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent)
- Experience with consolidations or intercompany accounting

Experience
- We are looking for a Meticulous Accounting Specialist, with 5+ years of accounting experience, to help us keep our accounting accurate, consistent, and internationally sound across multiple entities: month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and the application of international accounting best practices rather than a single country's GAAP.
