Requirements
- SOLAR TECH 1 Job Summary Position is responsible for basic solar operational and maintenance tasks including basic troubleshooting, manual mowing, tooling maintenance and inspections, basic Preventative Maintenance, Snow Plowing/shoveling, basic Lockout/Tagout, component replacement, & equipment hauling.
- Essential Functions Maintains all tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition Provides basic inspection of electrical and mechanical components of solar arrays Tracker System Maintenance and Troubleshooting Performs basic DC System Maintenance Perform basic Lockout/Tagout activities Performs basic PM work, corrective work, and component replacement on photovoltaic & inverter Systems Snowplow as required to access components Perform manual mowing of solar fields Maintain
- These may include tasks associated with emerging technologies, or site-specific needs, provided they fall within the technician’s training and classification. Required
