Summary The Space System Architect possesses knowledge of space, ground, and payload segments and interoperability of these assets across Radio Frequency, software, network, and hardware components.
- Requirements BS in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer, Electrical, Systems, Mechanical or Advanced degree preferred.
- Must possess a minimum of 10 years in systems engineering or architecture with
- experience in space systems including space, ground, and payload segments. Ability to perform
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, technical specifications, proposals, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from senior management, peers, and customers.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Analytical math skills necessary to complete the required tasks.
- experience in space, ground, and payload segments
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) utilizing Cameo and/or Rhapsody
- Experience in modeling languages and tools including Python and MATLAB
- Experience with the development of industry standards in a collaborative environment of industry leaders
- Experience with virtualization and containerization of software applications Security
- Must be able to work overtime on and off-shifts as required.
