Responsibilities
- Responsibilities Plan, lead and supervise resources across multiple projects to ensure engineering deliverables are achieved in line with project requirements.
- Coordinate constructability and installation reviews to support effective project execution.
- Review technical procedures related to erection, layout, lifting, load out, sea fastening and offshore installation activities.
- Support project planning and contribute to subcontract package preparation where work is to be outsourced.
- Ensure engineering and drafting activities are carried out in accordance with specifications and schedule, including prioritisation and authorisation of construction, installation and as-built drawings.
- Review and approve installation procedures and engineering deliverables to support safe execution and sound engineering practice.
- Supervise Operation and Field Engineers in project planning, offshore execution and preparation of material lists.
- Resolve technical issues arising during offshore installation and support corrective actions where required.
Requirements
- Experience Essential: Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum or Marine Engineering from a recognised higher learning institution.
- experience across contract types such as T&I and EPCIC. Essential:
- Experience in offshore transportation and installation methodology and execution.
- Essential: Familiarity with offshore transportation and installation software including MOSES, SACS, Orcaflex, StaadPro, OFFPIPE, ANSYS and AutoCAD.
- Essential: Knowledge of relevant engineering industry codes such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO and DNV.
- Essential: Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and work effectively across departments and with clients.
- Essential: Strong attention to detail, proactive approach, resource planning capability and ability to work to tight schedules with limited resources.
