Responsibilities

Coach technicians in-store, conduct skill gap analyses, and improve diagnostics, productivity, and repair quality.
Develop and facilitate training programs, including ASE and internal certification preparation.
Track training records, certifications, and effectiveness using LMS while ensuring compliance with standards.
Support new product, tool, and technology launches through structured training and field enablement.

It focuses on building expertise in diagnostics, repair, safety, and emerging vehicle technologies (ADAS, EV/HEV).
What We Are Looking For Associate’s degree in automotive technology or related field required; equivalent
experience (minimum 8 years) considered in lieu of a degree, along with Master ASE Automotive Technician certification (including L1) and additional ASE certifications preferred.
Advanced mechanical and diagnostic expertise across major vehicle systems, including strong knowledge of diagnostic strategies, tools, and service systems.
Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, identify skill gaps, and operate independently in a field-based environment.
Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel 75–80% including overnight, with the ability to perform hands-on demonstrations, meet physical requirements, and maintain a valid driver’s license. #LI-SM1 Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.

The Retail Technical Training Coordinator delivers technical training programs for automotive technicians across Goodyear Retail, using in-person, virtual, and hands-on methods.
The position combines classroom facilitation with in-shop coaching to improve technician performance and repair quality.
It also manages training compliance, certification tracking, and alignment with OEM and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, the role partners with cross-functional teams to develop curriculum and continuously improve technical capability across the network.
