Responsibilities
- Coach technicians in-store, conduct skill gap analyses, and improve diagnostics, productivity, and repair quality.
- Develop and facilitate training programs, including ASE and internal certification preparation.
- Track training records, certifications, and effectiveness using LMS while ensuring compliance with standards.
- Support new product, tool, and technology launches through structured training and field enablement.
Requirements
- It focuses on building expertise in diagnostics, repair, safety, and emerging vehicle technologies (ADAS, EV/HEV).
- What We Are Looking For Associate’s degree in automotive technology or related field required; equivalent
- experience (minimum 8 years) considered in lieu of a degree, along with Master ASE Automotive Technician certification (including L1) and additional ASE certifications preferred.
- Advanced mechanical and diagnostic expertise across major vehicle systems, including strong knowledge of diagnostic strategies, tools, and service systems.
- Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, identify skill gaps, and operate independently in a field-based environment.
- Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel 75–80% including overnight, with the ability to perform hands-on demonstrations, meet physical requirements, and maintain a valid driver’s license. #LI-SM1 Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
