Responsibilities
- Design Simulation & Analysis: Proficient use of simulation tools such as LTSpice for circuitry, HyperLynx for signal integrity, and MATLAB for system-level modeling.
Requirements
- High-Speed Digital Protocols: Comprehensive technical knowledge of embedded microprocessor design and integration for ARM Cores, DDR memory interfaces, and high-bandwidth USB and Ethernet.
- Advanced Architecture & PCB Design: Proven ability to lead the full design cycle—including requirement analysis, schematic capture (using Mentor VX/DxDesigner), and complex high-speed layout analysis.
- Experience designing for MIL-STD-461 (EMI/EMC) and adhering to IPC standards to ensure hardware survivability in high-reliability environments.
- Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
- experience in Digital Design in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred Additional Skills: Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with SDR architectures, embedded SW/VHDL, and configuration management tools like Agile.
- SDR & RF Architecture Mastery: A nuanced understanding of Software Defined Radio (SDR) architectures and the interaction between digital boards and RF circuitry.
