Responsibilities

Investigate anomalies and work with the mission operations and engineering team to safely resolve them
Automate manual processes using scripting and software tools Requirements

Successful candidates will have a proven track record of projects in the aerospace field and a strong background in Python. Role
Currently pursuing a B.S. degree in an engineering, physics, or computer science related major. •
Experience in scripting with Python
Basic understanding of satellite systems
Experience doing telemetry analysis and anomaly investigations •
Experience with software development tools such as Git The base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.

Internships at Astranis typically last for twelve weeks, and are hourly roles designed for students who are currently enrolled at a four-year university.

Many past interns have designed and tested hardware/software that is heading to space on our first five satellites, and many of them are now full-time employees at Astranis.
Work with mission engineers to design, create, test, and execute satellite operations procedures, including commissioning procedures and nominal operations procedures
Participate in commanding activities of our first five operational spacecraft
