Responsibilities
- Improve payment recovery rates for failed Account to Account payments.
- Improve fraud detection rates of our ML models and rules based systems
- Improve the consumer authentication flow experiences for high risk payments.
Requirements
- Over 100,000 businesses , from start-ups to household names, use GoCardless to collect and send payments through direct debit, real-time payments and open banking.
- We use AI-powered solutions to improve payment success and reduce fraud.
- experience of using the same and coming up with ideas for new product features in this space. You will be aided and supported in this journey by a team of super talented and motivated engineers.
- This is a unique and high-profile opportunity for you, as an engineer, to work on building one one of GoCardless' major revenue streams in the coming years.
- You have strong programming experience with Ruby and/or Python
- Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.

- Base salary range: 2,933–4,400 EUR gross
- Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role.
