Responsibilities

  • Own technical execution across Workday HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Prism Analytics, and Illuminate. Translate business
  • Manage sandbox strategy, tenant lifecycle, and biannual release readiness.
  • Configure HCM and Recruiting modules.Build advanced reports (matrix, composite, BIRT), calculated fields, validations, and business process frameworks.
  • Maintain scalable security models and governance standards.
  • Build and maintain integrations (EIB, Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, RaaS).
  • Integrate with applications like ERP, identity providers,
  • Ensure secure, reusable integration frameworks with monitoring and error-handling discipline.
  • Implement and manage Workday Prism Analytics datasets and dashboards.
  • Enable Workday Illuminate capabilities and intelligent workflows.
  • Drive automation while maintaining audit and compliance standards.
  • Own Workday security architecture and least-privilege access models.
  • Implement enhanced logging and monitoring for sensitive data access, extracts, and downloads.
  • Ensure encryption in transit and at rest across integrations and reporting.
  • Enforce non-production data masking and scrubbing practices.
  • Support SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • We are seeking a hands-on Senior Workday Platform Engineer within the G&A IT Applications team to serve as the primary technical owner of the Workday platform across HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Prism Analytics, Illuminate (AI/ML), integrations, security, and release management.
  • Analytics, AI & Automation:
  • Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Integrations, Security, Prism). Strong
  • experience building Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, APIs).
  • Experience with Prism Analytics.
  • High documentation skills with solid understanding of ITGC controls & Change management policies and operational rigor.
  • Experience operating in regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex platform initiatives end-to-end.
  • Exposure to Workday Illuminate / AI features. •
  • Experience with Workday ecosystem add-ons (e.g., Paradox, Sana, and other governance/reporting tools). •
  • Experience in biotech, healthcare, or other large-scale companies.
