As a Simulation Technician, you’ll be at the heart of aviation training technology, responsible for maintaining and repairing some of the most advanced flight simulators in the world.
These include Level D full flight simulators - devices so realistic they’re certified to replace actual flight hours.
You’ll work hands-on with complex systems like electromechanical motion platforms, immersive visual environments, and high-performance computing clusters.
Qualifications Open to people with technical or trade experience, e.g. electronic technician, electrician, IT, hardware engineering, etc Ability to gain an NV-1 Security Clearance (I.e. must be an Australian Citizen) Flexibility for shift work – our hours of operation are between 6am – midnight (shifts are 8hrs long) Preferred

The Simulation Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager (or delegate) and is responsible for performing all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices in a safe and effective manner.
The goal is to ensure maximum availability and reliability of training systems to support successful training outcomes for end users.
When something goes wrong, you’ll be the one to diagnose and fix it, ensuring pilots can train without interruption.
