Responsibilities
- experience (DevEx) tools and workflows, from local development to deployment. - Build observability systems that provide insight into performance, reliability, and usage. - Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Platform and Product Engineers to build shared platform tools necessary to scale our products and services - Help enforce and maintain security and compliance standards across infrastructure (SOC 2, FedRAMP, etc). - Drive a culture of automation, resiliency, and operational excellence.
Requirements

- You’ll be responsible for building the tooling and platform required to scale our development and production systems.
- Your team has a direct influence over the full Software Development Lifecycle at Middesk and overall developer experience (DevEx).
- The systems your team will support include Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, observability, and local development experience.
- experience operating and managing Kubernetes-based environments in production. -
- Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform) and GitOps workflows. -
- Experience working on high availability systems NICE-TO-HAVE: -
- Experience building and deploying components of the AI stack. -
- Experience building and deploying AI infrastructure or agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code). - Prior
- experience at a fast-growing startup or fintech company.
