Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Frequency Authorization tracker for all MDA missions, ensuring absolute data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop, author, and submit System Certifications (DD1494) utilizing STEPSTONE and EL-CID programs.
- Develop, coordinate, and submit frequency authorization requests utilizing Spectrum XXI (SXXI) for developmental, fielded, and new systems.
- Develop, update, and maintain critical reports and databases to support operational and engineering activities.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues between developmental and deployed systems.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency.
- Develop, update, compile, and submit Host Nation Coordination (HNC) packets and Site Surveys for globally deploying systems.
Requirements
- Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory and electromagnetic principles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Teams.
- experience within federal/DoW spectrum management Ability to obtain / Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance
- Experience with Spectrum XXI (SXXI) Knowledge of the NTIA Manual (Redbook)
- Experience with the GEMSIS suite (Stepstone, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online [HNSWD-O], Joint Spectrum Data Repository [JSDR], Integrated Spectrum Desktop) Knowledge of electromagnetic propagation modeling, wave behavior, and signal attenuation
- Experience with MATLAB or other programming languages Knowledge of the Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution Online (JSIR-O) portal
- Experience with NTIA EL-CID Knowledge of standard engineering practices
