Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proper patient care techniques, provide live step-by-step instruction, and supervise student practice. - Assess student competency and provide feedback and remediation as needed.
- Ensure that students achieve mastery of foundational patient care skills before advancing through clinical rotations. - Coordinate with hospital preceptors and site staff to align student clinical rotations with program goals and navigate site-specific protocols. - Document student progress and report on clinical outcomes. - Represent Stepful on-site with our hospital and training center partner, supporting a positive
- - Facilitating hands-on learning in a simulation lab using simulation equipment and following Stepful's established curriculum - Supporting students through their clinical rotations at our hospital partner site In the simulation lab, the Clinical Educator delivers structured skills training based on Stepful's curriculum, guiding students through the hands-on competencies required for the Patient Care Associate role.

- experience in a clinical, patient care role (e.g., PCT, CNA, CMA, LPN, RN) in medical-surgical or acute care hospital settings - 2+ years of
- experience providing clinical instruction in a patient care setting (e.g., a hospital setting, medical clinic, or nursing or behavioral home setting) - E.g.,
- Experience facilitating clinical rotations for students at a hospital or clinical site, coordinating with site staff, following site-specific protocols, and managing students within a live care environment - Strong written and oral communication skills - Proven ability to work closely with nursing teams, leadership, and interdisciplinary staff - Availability for the following: - June 1 - July 17: - Available ~5 hours/week for onboarding, including in-person visits at our partner hospital site in Manhattan
