Responsibilities
- Conduct in-meet daily operational readiness checks to ensure all departments are fully prepared for race-day activities.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally (Facilities, Security, Hospitality, Sales, Racing Operations, Events/Marketing etc.) to ensure daily operational alignment.
- Supervise seasonal staff brought on to assist with the execution of daily event activities, including onboarding, scheduling support, and performance oversight.
- Manage multiple operational projects simultaneously, maintaining timelines and deliverables Administrative & Documentation:
- Develop and maintain meeting agendas and documentation
- Track vendor performance, budget and project milestones
Requirements
- experience in large-scale events, live operation environments, with strong project management and administrative capabilities. Essential Functions: Event Operations Management:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- experience in large-scale event operations
- Experience within horse racing or a live sporting venue environment strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work on-site with flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays during live racing and major events Preferred Skills: Event Planning Communication Trouble shooting Project management Procurement
Benefits
- Requirements and Work Environment: Exposure to outside weather conditions. Pay Range / Salary: $27.94 - $34.08
