Requirements
- The successful candidate will have the skills, competencies, and capacity to support a broad range of stakeholders in delivering our pipe integrity program, helping maintain safe pipeline operations and regulatory compliance.
- Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline Registered, or eligible to register, with APEGA as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing 4+ years of pipeline integrity experience, knowledge and prior work
- experience on pipe deformation threat management Preferred
- Qualifications Working knowledge of PHMSA 49 CFR 192 and CSA Z662 pipeline integrity-related
- requirements Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of data for timely deliverables Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey information effectively to a variety of stakeholders and to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
- Experience with analyzing ILI data, especially caliper ILI data, is a strong asset
- Experience in coding and developing automation tools to process large amounts of data is a strong asset

- What you’ll do Perform defect assessment on dents and other pipe deformation anomalies (wrinkles, ripples, buckles, and ovalities) by analyzing relevant ILI data and pipeline information Identify potential deformation defects requiring inspection and remediation from defect assessment; enter work units in Pipe Integrity Master Plan with relevant details for program planning Ensure data quality and completion for accurate ILI analysis by collaborating with ILI vendors and internal stakeholders Collaborate
