Responsibilities
- Review, recommend and implement improvements to system designs and equipment reliability.
- Support safe design, installation and commissioning activities in line with applicable standards and regulations.
- Coordinate engineering solutions that support safety, production, cost, quality and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- You will ideally bring: A recognised Electrical Engineering degree.
- Experience working in a heavy industrial environment within an engineering field.
- The ability to build positive relationships with operations, maintenance, contractors and technical teams.

- About the Role Are you ready to bring your technical expertise to one of the world’s leading bauxite mining operations? We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our WA Mining team at Huntly , working a Monday to Friday roster .
- In this role, you will provide engineering expertise to support the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of electrical and control systems infrastructure across WA Mining fixed plant systems.
- You will play an important role in improving equipment reliability, performance, safety and operational outcomes, while working closely with engineering teams, asset owners, contractors and operational stakeholders.
- You will be empowered to: Provide technical support for electrical and control systems projects across WA Mining operations.
- Partner with operations, maintenance, contractors and engineering service providers to deliver practical and effective engineering solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, cost reduction, waste minimisation and improved asset utilisation.
