Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for UM and provider portal solutions in partnership with Product Managers and executive stakeholders.
- Champion product discovery, prioritization frameworks, and outcome measurement to maximize business impact in UM and provider portal domains.
- Oversee creation and maintenance of product documentation, including release notes, user guides, and training materials for UM and provider portal applications.
- Own the user acceptance testing process, ensuring compliance with regulatory
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams.
- Mentor and coach junior product team members, supporting their professional growth. Required Experience &
- Proven track record of leading agile teams and delivering successful UM or provider-facing products.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. 5+ years of
- experience in healthcare technology, with a focus on Utilization Management, prior authorization, or provider portal solutions.
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data formats (eligibility, claims, authorizations) and compliance standards.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio). Preferred Experience &
- Qualifications: Advanced degree in a technical or related field.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and payer/provider workflows. Proficiency with SQL, Python, or equivalent programming languages.
- Experience writing product documentation (release notes, user guides). Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
