Responsibilities
- Improve development patterns and guide the broader analytics function on evolution of foundational datasets
- Lead technical execution in building scalable data models and pipelines for key domains, defining architecture, feature requirements, roadmaps
- Plan and execute on technology projects that scale with our growth; contribute to our architecture with a focus on analytics
Requirements

- Tooling and capabilities to accelerate productivity of analytics subject matter experts; automation of analytics functions
- Strong SQL and Python skills and demonstrated competencies in designing well-architected data models and optimizing query performance •
- experience with a focus on data modeling, large-scale data processing, and tool development for analytics or data science use cases •
- Experience with Airflow, dbt or similar analytics workflow tools; Snowflake experience especially valuable
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETLs, big data technologies, and analytics platforms
- Data warehousing experience at Petabyte scale
- Understanding of performance, capacity, cost trade-offs in data processing systems
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent industry
- experience Technologies we use and teach: AWS Snowflake Airflow Spark Python

Benefits
- Kotlin Salary range:
- Canada: the pay range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000 per year.
- This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
- Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location.
- The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
