Responsibilities
- Monitor throughput, service levels, and data quality to ensure business needs are met.
- Review and approve complex customer setups, changes, extensions, and data cleansing activities.
- Ensure adherence to data standards, governance policies, and internal controls.
- Identify process gaps, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Support implementation of enhancements, standard work, and documentation updates.
- Support & Guidance for Analysts: Support training and onboarding of new team members.
Requirements
- The Team Lead – Master Data will serve as the subject matter expert for customer master data processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant data maintenance across systems.
- You will be responsible to coordinate day ‑ to ‑ day operations, supports analysts, and plays a key role in translating master data strategy into consistent execution.
- The position partners closely with cross‑ functional teams and supports continuous improvement, data quality, and process effectiveness within the master data function.
- Why This Role Matters Ensures accurate, compliant customer setup and billing: Owns customer and account maintenance in SAP, manages approvals for changes, and maintains a controlled document repository—directly enabling accurate billing and downstream collections, and supporting SOX audit requirements.
- What you'll do Daily Operations & Workload Coordination: Coordinate daily master data activities and prioritize workload across analysts.
- Customer Master Data Expertise: Serve as the SME for customer master data processes within SAP.
- Serve as liaison between the Manager and the team, translating strategy into execution What We’re Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field.
- Experience with customer collections / accounts receivable. 4+ years of progressively responsible
- experience in accounts receivable, credit, or customer collections, including management of complex or high value accounts. Demonstrated
- Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally (e.g., Sales, Credit, Billing, Legal) to address systemic AR challenges.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage escalations and address complex customer issues.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with SAP is desired

- experience resolving escalated issues, such as disputes, pricing discrepancies, and contractual billing problems.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior analysts, sharing best practices, or reviewing work for quality and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause identification.
- Ability to guide junior analysts and support process improvements.
