Responsibilities
- Support PMHNPs in complex psychiatric evaluations, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including therapists, case managers, and social workers.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation within the EMR system.
- Collaborating Psychiatrist Duties: Provide clinical supervision and support to PMHNPs in accordance with state laws and psychiatric board regulations.
Requirements
- Collaborating Psychiatrist (Clinical & Supervisory Role) Must live and be licensed as a board-certified Psychiatrist in one of the following states: Florida Georgia Indiana North Carolina Ohio Pennsylvania Texas Virginia About Thriveworks Thriveworks is a trusted mental health provider with 340+ locations and a nationwide hybrid care model.
- Qualifications: Medical Degree (MD or DO) with residency training in Psychiatry.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in multiple states, or willing to get licensed in multiple states Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience, preferably with supervisory or collaborative
- experience with PMHNPs. Deep understanding of the NP scope of practice in psychiatry and relevant state regulations. Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship skills. Preferred
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry and/or telepsychiatry settings.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care, integrated care, and/or addiction psychiatry (a plus).
- Experience with EMR systems and virtual collaboration tools.
