Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of engineering design and criteria for natural gas and/or NGLs in pipeline systems
  • Experience at this level is typically attained with ten or more years of
  • experience in engineering, operations and/or project management
  • Experience in use and function of applications such as: Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, Word, etc.
  • Experience with and knowledge of pipelines or hydrocarbon processing and related facilities design, construction, operation, and maintenance
  • Experience with material failure and structural analysis and thorough knowledge of industry standards and governmental regulations

  • JOB SUMMARY This role provides advanced engineering and project management leadership in support of natural gas, NGL, Refined Products, and Crude Oil pipeline and facility assets, with a key focus on serving as an Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • As an Electrical SME, this role is responsible for reviewing and/or performing specialized electrical engineering analyses and studies, which may include motor starting analyses, protection coordination studies, arc flash modeling and labeling, and grounding system design.
  • The role provides expert guidance on industrial motor design and applications; switchgear and motor control center (MCC) design and applications; and electrical system reliability, safety, and maintainability.
  • Work is performed in accordance with applicable industry standards, codes, and best practices, including but not limited to IEEE C57, IEEE 841, IEEE 1584, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70B/NETA MTS, NFPA 70E, NFPA 497/API 500.
  • The role works closely with operations, construction, commercial, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance system reliability, mitigate electrical risk, and deliver projects that align with organizational objectives.

  • Experience and training related to: Transmission/gathering pipeline operations Gas measurement and regulation activities Processing and/or storage operations Company/governmental operating and safety procedures Pipeline stress/strain analysis Industry best practices and design philosophy
