Senior/Staff Quantum Error Correction Engineer

  • Build and maintain robust software libraries for QEC and integrate them into broader systems •
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and research teams to bring QEC into practice •

Requirements

  • As a Senior/Staff Quantum Error Correction Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing the core technology behind IQM’s quantum computers.
  • Solid programming skills (Python) and
  • experience with quantum tools (e.g., Stim, Qiskit) •
  • Experience with QEC codes, fault-tolerant protocols, or decoding algorithms •
  • Experience building scalable algorithms or prototype systems •
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and collaborate across teams •
  • MSc or PhD in a relevant field (PhD preferred), with several years of
  • experience in QEC or related research •
