Requirements

experience in an international payroll or payroll/accounting environment Hands-on
experience processing European payrolls, with strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance, and tax laws Strong expertise in German payroll and labor law
Experience working with outsourced payroll providers Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently, accurately, and meet tight deadlines Fluency in German and English (written and verbal) Strong ownership mindset and accountability for payroll processes Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros, etc.) Ability to manage shifting priorities and solve problems effectively Willingness to learn, adapt, and give/receive feedback constructively.

In this role, you’ll primarily support payroll operations for Germany, Austria & Switzerland, partnering closely with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do Process, audit, and reconcile international payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery Partner with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll reporting Coordinate payroll approval & payment instructions with the Finance team Prepare monthly payroll GL journal, accrual reports, and month-end closing reporting activities Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, collective labor agreements, and company policies Respond to
