Responsibilities
- Perform employee onboarding and offboarding:
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues
- Install, configure, and maintain standard business applications
- Manage IT assets:
- Support endpoint management platforms (e.g., Intune or similar)
- Install and maintain network cabling (Cat6, fiber as needed)
- Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and configurations
Requirements
- The IT Support Technician provides frontline technical support to end users and ensures the reliable operation of end-user computing systems, devices, and basic network infrastructure.
- Assist with patching and basic security compliance tasks
- Rack and stack basic network and IT equipment
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments
- Familiarity with:
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS) •
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in secure or regulated environments (e.g., GCCH, CMMC, ITAR)
- Familiarity with asset management systems (e.g., Snipe-IT)
Experience
- 5+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience
Benefits
- The California annual base salary for this role is currently $40 - $54 an hour. Pay Grades are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and internal equity.
