- IDEXX is seeking a motivated Veterinary Laboratory Assistant to join our Patient Service Management (PSM) team in our Brisbane laboratory.
- This permanent part-time opportunity (approximately 3 days per week) is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining laboratory processes, administration, and problem-solving.
- Working onsite alongside a collaborative team, you’ll play a key role in managing incoming samples, ensuring accuracy, and supporting diagnostic workflows that make a meaningful difference in animal health Why this role matters: You play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of samples and information through the laboratory, directly supporting accurate and timely diagnostic results.

- In this role: You receive and distribute incoming samples (local and interstate) to the laboratory efficiently and accurately You perform administrative checks, ensuring correct patient details and sample information You identify discrepancies and proactively contact clients for clarification or resubmissions when required You manage domestic and international sample send-outs and track their progress You enter results and support data accuracy prior to pathologist release You troubleshoot sample and
