Requirements
- Experience As a mechanically-focused Operations Technician Lead, you’ll be at the heart of Williams’ operations, working hands-on with our largest horsepower and power distribution installations.
- Expect to deepen your expertise with: Advanced maintenance and optimization of gas turbines and high-speed reciprocating engines Detailed work on medium voltage generators and complex power distribution systems Direct involvement with environmental controls and distributed control systems, ensuring mechanical reliability You’ll play a vital role on construction projects, take charge of diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment, and use your technical know-how to address operational challenges. This
- experience as an Operations Technician in the oil and gas industry Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a shift-based, field-oriented environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of control systems and PLCs Preferred: Associate or 2-year technical degree
- Experience in natural gas processing or compression facilities Work Environment & Schedule Work in extreme temperatures, loud environments, and enclosed spaces Lift up to 50 lbs and team-lift heavier loads Stand, walk, climb, bend, and squat for extended periods Work at elevated levels using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts with appropriate PPE Use hand tools and mechanical diagnostic equipment Available for shift work, on-call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays Occasional travel between Williams
