Responsibilities

  • Diagnose PLC and HMI programs.
  • Multi-skilled electrical mechanical technician with advanced competency troubleshooting and supporting production equipment This position is a highly developed troubleshooting electrical technician that follows and enforces the National Electrical Code (NFPA 79) Mentoring other technicians is a requirement Trained on all electrical hazards and is an advocate for our electrical safety programs Operates Power Industrial Trucks (PIT).

Requirements

  • Continuous job-related training in electrical and mechanical technologies and code compliance ELECTRICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Trained and has demonstrated compliance for Electrical LOTO requirements per NFPA 70E.
  • Proficient at troubleshooting and problem-solving issues of intermediate complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.) Understands basic internal networks and MES equipment integration Understands the National Electrical Code (NFPA 79) to enforce code that applies to all electrical installations
  • Be proactive assessing equipment to increase reliability and efficiency Advanced understand of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, schematics, and the operation of all components Competency in root cause analysis utilizing AMS tools Able to lead and facilitate RCCA and equipment reliability sessions QUALIFICATION AND SKILL
  • REQUIREMENTS: Electrical/Mechanical multi-skilled technician satisfied by demonstrated technical expertise in advanced maintenance functions Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills 2-year technical degree or equivalent past work experience.
  • Continued technical training required each year Excellent communication, time management, organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work in a team environment and self-direct activities Ability to manage vital maintenance functions to maximize corporate assets Project management skills required Must operate/be trained in the use of Power Industrial Trucks (PIT).
  • (includes right and left hands) Outside work required Working with various chemicals High work from, ladders and platforms Working in confined space conditions Wearing the proper PPE Handling hazardous waste wearing the appropriate PPE Working near energized electric circuits Working near/on hot equipment/materials PHYSICAL DEMANDS FOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 68 pounds Ability to safely push and/or pull up to 92 pounds of force WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
