Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations, external suppliers, manufacturing, quality, service, packaging engineering, and materials engineering.
Requirements
- Ability to utilize mechanical design analysis tools and develop test plans to quickly problem solve. MUST HAVE
- QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree 10 to 15 years of related mechanical design
- experience Experienced with 3D CAD modeling package
- Experience as design or project lead of a cross functional engineering team Well-developed project management skills Demonstrated ability to design experimentation, analyze results and draw conclusions Strong people skills, able to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Quick learner with high level of ambition and drive NICE-TO-HAVE
- QUALIFICATIONS: Possesses distinguished level of knowledge often acquired by completing advanced academic degree or equivalent specialized training 2D and 3D CAD
- experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent software
- Experience working through a gated design review process Strong understanding of GD&T, drawing, and quality standards Demonstrated ability with dimensional engineering and tolerance/variation analysis
