Responsibilities

Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure maximum simulator availability and reliability.
Perform visual alignments, calibration activities, and system performance checks.
Execute, analyse, and evaluate Qualification Test Guide (QTG) and Approval Test Guide (ATG) procedures.
Lead and coordinate technical activities during shifts in collaboration with the Group Leader, Maintenance Planner, and Technical Management team.
Support engineering projects involving hardware modifications, software updates, and simulator upgrades.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using CAE's maintenance management system.
Ensure compliance with CASA, OEM, customer, and CAE quality and safety requirements.
Support customer operations and contribute to the resolution of technical issues affecting training delivery.
Make technical and operational decisions during periods where management is not present to ensure continuity of simulator operations. Qualifications &

The Role CAE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Simulator Technician III to join our team at our Sydney Training Centre in St Peters, NSW .
Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: A technical trade qualification, diploma, degree, or equivalent technical training in electronics, electrical, mechanical, aviation, or a related discipline.
experience in simulator maintenance, aviation maintenance, defence systems, industrial automation, or a comparable technical environment.
Experience using test equipment and diagnostic tools.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one major simulator system such as: Motion systems Visual systems Aircraft systems Computer or network infrastructure experience match the
