Employment Status: Full time Shift: Day/Evening (United States of America) Facility: 1906 Belleview Ave SE - Roanoke Requisition Number: R151462 Clinical Transport Tech II (Open) How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare: The Clinical Transporter II coordinates the monitoring transport patient flow throughout CMC.
Transports patients independently monitoring the patients condition en route and during procedures.
Utilizes transportation algorithm to determine appropriate follow-up for emergent and /or urgent patient needs. The Clinical Transporter II Plans, directs and coordinates daily workflow in department.
In addition, priorities and coordinates in-conjunction with the manager of radiology and multiple other departments to manage monitored patient flow.
Maintains awareness of overall monitoring department functions and status of all patients en route, during procedure, and in the Monitoring Transition area.
Identifies and coordinates various staff needed to support patient in transport.
Adapts to fluctuation in work demands by adjusting staff scheduling based on projected patient flow.
Makes recommendations to management based on identified trends.
Inputs, maintains, and updates monitoring transport database.
Prepares routine and non-routine special reports including gathering and summarizing data.
