Responsibilities
- Lead projects of multiple people from idea to positive execution
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
- Utilize your expertise in Python, Golang, AWS, AI to deliver robust and scalable solutions
Requirements
- We are looking for candidates who are self starters and have a proven track record of delivering software solutions that can solve critical business needs.
- You will gain comprehensive knowledge of Lyft's internal services and operations and adapt them to meet the growth needs.
- BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience
- experience in object oriented programming, ideally in Python or GoLang •
- Experience in backend software development of large-scale distributed systems, concurrency and NoSQL databases •
- Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners Benefits:

- The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $148,000 - $185,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
