Requirements

Licensure, certification, and/or registration RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography. ARDMS or CCI.
CPR certification required.
Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
Experience: none Licensure, certification, and/or registration : ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography.

No weekends, no holidays, no on-call. 4 10-hour shifts available. Assesses patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
Operates highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
Creates a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Interprets information needed to identify each patients requirement and/or specific needs, and provides care per applicable policy and procedures.
