Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence by achieving world-class performance in cement production, kiln reliability, equipment availability, product quality, cost control, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all cement plant processes, including quarry, raw mill, kiln, cooler, finish mill, and packing operations, while maintaining a strong culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop, coach and mentor salaried and hourly employees, building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, talent development, operational discipline, and succession planning.
- Champion safety and environmental stewardship by ensuring compliance with all MSHA.
- Lead plant financial performance, including budgeting, capital planning, major maintenance outages, reliability initiatives, cost optimization, and long-term operational strategy.
Requirements
- experience in cement manufacturing operations is strongly preferred, with proven success leading a cement plant or major production area.
- Deep knowledge of cement production processes, kiln operations, clinker manufacturing, maintenance reliability, and process optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in safety, production, quality, cost control, and environmental compliance within a heavy industrial environment.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred; 10+ years of progressive leadership
- experience in cement manufacturing strongly desired.
