Senior Analyst Finance

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with financial processes as well as adherence to established corporate policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Support Loss analysis, FI pillar and plant optimization analytics.
  • Coordinate year-end stock counts and WIP valuation, support controlling and external auditors, and manage plant waste reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

  • What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field 2-4 years of
  • experience in financial analytical skills, factory accounting and clear business acumen.
  • Ability to analyze and explain financial results and forecasts, with strong understanding of Goodyear’s products, policies, business practices, and support structure.
  • Strong PC skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with solid knowledge of relevant systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong sense of urgency, able to manage multiple priorities, with effective communication and active listening skills.

  • What You'll Do Perform accurate month-end closing activities while understanding key business drivers to support reliable financial reporting.
  • Summarize and communicate financial and operating results against objectives.
  • Provide qualitative analysis including variance analysis to production teams and plant leadership.
  • Support in preparation of realistic and challenging financial objectives, budgets, and strategic plans for the plant with a high level of financial forecast accuracy.
  • Participate in special projects, working capital saving initiatives, involved in CPEM calculations, support actively the cost center planning process.
  • Broad exposure to diverse finance and business practices, with strong financial and business acumen.
