Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants to ensure high-quality , timely , and compliant revenue processes.
- Own , maintain , and enhance complex revenue models and data workflows, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and adaptability to evolving business needs.
- Manage the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly revenue reconciliations and analyses.
- Oversee the calculation and processing of commission payouts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of revenue accounting operations.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls by developing and documenting revenue-related policies and procedures.
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
- Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree a plus. CPA required . 5–8+ years of progressive
- experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting; Big 4
- experience a plus. Required Skills and Abilities Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
- Experience querying and analyzing data from centralized data sources (e.g., data warehouses) using SQL or similar tools.
- Ability to understand, maintain , and enhance complex data models or workflows supporting financial reporting and analysis (e.g., Alteryx) Advanced Excel skills required ;
- experience working with large datasets and modern data environments preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
